Held, even in the storm.

HEBREWS 6:19 · KING JAMES VERSION
“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;”

Life does not always offer calm waters. Some mornings arrive with unanswered questions, heavy responsibilities, and fears we cannot name. Yet Hebrews reminds us that hope in God is an anchor for the soul. Our security rests in His faithful character, even when our circumstances feel uncertain.

An anchor works beneath the surface, beyond what the sailor can see. In the same way, God is at work where our eyes cannot reach. Through Jesus, we are welcomed into His presence. The veil no longer keeps us distant; Christ has opened the way. We can approach our Father with honest hearts and receive His mercy.

Today, resist the temptation to measure God's love by the size of your storm. Remember His promises. Bring Him the worry you have been carrying alone. Ask for wisdom for the next decision, strength for the next step, and grace for the person beside you.

Faith does not require pretending that everything is easy. It invites us to trust the One who remains steadfast through everything. Breathe. Pray. Hold firmly to Christ. The waves may move around you, but your hope is held in hands that will never let you go. Rest in that truth today.

A moment to prayFather, anchor my heart in Your promises. Give me peace for today and courage for the next step. Amen.

Pass on the hope.
